Old Town Finds
It all started with a clean out - of our home. I am Robin Luca and my partner, Don White have shared a love of antiques for many years. Don started 20+ years ago, while I am a new-comer of 7 years of collecting, buying and reselling. Cleaning out our Victorian farmhouse in NW Pennsylvania, it was decided we needed to sell some of the wonderful antique items Don had acquired over many years. While his first love is clocks, his second is everything else! We started listing on eBay and then came Etsy.
After a few years of buying and selling online, I fell into an opportunity to sell jewelry on Facebook doing Live Auctions. It was a fun and fast way to resell the jewelry, glassware and small items. In order to do this regularly, I needed to obtain my Pennsylvania Auctioneers License. So, the opportunity came when the world was shut down with the pandemic and for the first time ever, the PA State offered an online auctioneering course. I was in the first class to go through and graduate with honors from Harrisburg Area Community College.
During all this time, we have amassed quite an inventory and have also had friends and neighbors waiting for us to be able to consign sell for them. We hit the road running.....
